Riparian Writers will be hosting an event at the Write Around the Murray literary festival on Friday 16th of September 2022.
To celebrate the literary life of local author Dorothy Simmons, who sadly died last year, we will be reading from our first group publication Riparian 1 which features and is dedicated to Dorothy.
Dorothy’s daughter, Hilary Simmons, will also talk on the night about editing her mother’s work and will share readings from Dorothy’s autobiographical essay, ‘This Itch.’
Selected writing from members of Riparian range from poetry to short stories to extracts from larger works.
